very solid!

papaya salad was very good, heavy on the fish sauce but well-balanced overall. tom yum pad thai was wonderful! authentic? ehh, but who cares when it's this good? khao soi wasn't spectacular but it was far from bad. khanom thuai was very good as well, but i wish they were like 50% bigger lol

waitstaff was very kind and attentive. opens until late. great food at reasonable prices means that i see myself returning here.

After ordering takeout,, we were watching the kitchen staff making our food while we waited. We were surprised to see one girl taste our food (okay) and then stir our food with the spoon that was just in her mouth (not okay). We thought maybe it was just a mistake, but she did it three more times. We said something when she brought our food, and she replied that it was another customer’s order (still not okay). But we saw her the whole time right up to when she brought us that very same food. Only then did she admit it was wrong, and they re-made our order. (Yes, we watched again the whole time.) Then, while waiting for our replacement order, we saw a cockroach inside the restaurant (dirty). The third strike was actually a customer who was heading outside to smoke. She opened the door, turned in the doorway to face her friends while lighting her cigarette, then released her first puff of cigarette smoke directly into the restaurant before heading outside. Very friendly service. Gapao rice was great! Also, Portion size is good, even for a larger guy. Lunch set is 980yen and comes with soup and desert. Full disclosure, you get a free coconut water if you rate 5 stars, but I honestly would have given it 5 stars regardless. The food...
