I stopped by on my way somewhere else. The place has attractive modern design.
There are several areas inside, with different working hours. As it sometime happens in Japan, there are strange rules, like you cannot take drinks from one area to another. Such unnecessary complexities puzzle customers and detract from experience.
The bread was good. Coffee was ok. What's not cool is they don't give you neither plate nor offer you water, even though they know you are eating inside. So you end up eating crunchy bread above the bare table, or you can grab a few napkins. Experience may differ in other areas of the place, I haven't tried.
Overall ok, but these details make me not want to come back much. Although I might give it another try should it happen, I prefer mindful service and warm atmosphere, did not feel it here.

Sugarcane topped Croissant: I mean why you gotta do that to the poor french pastry, a little sugar I get, but that thing was doused in a sugar mountain, though the croissant itself was nicely textured.

Read moreBakery Bank offers a delightful selection of pastries that are both delicious and visually appealing. The display is meticulously arranged, making each item look as good as it tastes. However, the seating area is quite limited, which might make it challenging to find a spot during busy hours. This setup seems more suited for take-away rather than dine-in.
The staff, while efficient, come across as somewhat reserved, which is a bit unexpected given the typically warm hospitality standards in Japan. As for the coffee, it’s decent but doesn’t particularly stand out. Overall, Bakery Bank is a great place to grab some quality...
