Read moreThere were three of us and we were quite satisfied with the quality of the food and drinks at the restaurant. We ordered olives, almonds, and three cocktails to start with. However, only the almonds arrived, and the waiter apologized for running out of olives. The portion size of the almonds was also disappointingly small, with only around 5 almonds per person.
Two Apéretifs were brought to the table, leaving the third person unsure if they would receive their cocktail. It was difficult to get the waiter's attention to clarify this, so we eventually ordered another drink through the online menu system. The food arrived, and despite a bumpy start, we cheered and enjoyed our drinks. I personally had the Earl Gray whisky highball and it was delicious.
However, there were further issues with the service. The first side order arrived 15 minutes before the rest of the food, causing it to go cold by the time the main courses arrived. Two main courses were served simultaneously, but the third person was left waiting, unsure if they would receive any food. To avoid starting without the third person, the other two waited, causing their food to also become cold.
We ordered a new side order to enjoy it warm, but (kind of surprisingly) arrived cold.
Despite the great taste of the food, cocktails, and wine, the inconsistent and unstructured service was the things that made our visit a memorable one.
Our order:
Cod fish with tomatoes Parmesan chicken schnitzel Bills Coconut curry (that supposedly is vegan, but the recipt said “fish Curry”) 2x sour dough 1x olives and almonds 2x French fries with herbs (the side order I mentioned) 1x Champagne 1x Shochu Sour 1x earl gray Highball 1 bottle Bills Syrah red wine Total...
