Great looking and tasting desserts! Worst customer service and treatment we had in Japan in several trips to the country. This was shocking to me and my family. We were looking for a place to cool down and enjoy some pastries we bumped into this store. However, not even a greeting once we entered, and we were intending to seat, as the place was almost empty, but never were offered the opportunity and only had two people staring at us at the cashier, so we ordered and it turned out to be only take away menu. When I realized it was only takeaway they refused us to just let us seat. I would have paid even twice if that was the case but they did not seem to want us there. Perhaps, we might have not been dressed appropriately based on some of the people seating there already, as we were with summer clothes due to the intense heat in Tokyo. However, we all felt quite appalled by the lack of interest by the two people attending the cashier. The ladies that brought us our dessert were nice though, so it is not everyone but the two people handling the customers. Please, train the people better at least to greet people, if nothing at least superficially! I have never seen this treatment anywhere in Japan, not even in Ginza.

TLDR: Stumbled on this shop while walking around Ginza. 1 star for the entremets themselves. They are actually quite well made. Very pretty. Not to sweet. Good texture. However, they are not anything special and very expensive. I guess this IS Ginza. However, I can definitely get these for less at French patisseries in San Francisco with tip and tax and I don't have to deal with rude and extremely snooty sales woman. You rarely meet terrible customer service in Japan so this was definitely a first. The rude woman left a bad taste in my mouth so even if the dessert was decent, I would never go back again.

Service: It seems like a lot of reviews also say that the customer service here is bad. It's true. Maybe you get treated better if you dress up, wear expensive clothes, carry expensive bags, and speak Japanese. All the girls in there were super dolled up. Some other reviews say people go for the Instagram. I believe it. It's that type of place. We also don't speak Japanese, so when the sales person realized that, she actually rolled her eyes when she got her phone so she can use Google translate to talk to us. I almost walked out of the store right then and there. They also seated us in a corner hidden in the way back away from the main tables where all the dolled up girls were. Probably didn't want normally dressed tourists to ruin their look. Or maybe it's because we were walk-ins. I don't know so I won't hold the seating against them.

Ambiance: Very pretentious. Also what is that smell in there?! I smelled it when I first walked in and it was consistently there. My husband also commented on it so I know it wasn't just me. Smelled like the sewers or someone passing gas. It was so weird.

Price: Expensive for what it is. If you sit down, they charge you a set menu of 2500 yen per person which they don't tell you about until you sit down. This means an entremet that is 1200ish and you pay double that for a small pot of tea. The tea was nothing special. They also have cakes up to 10s of thousands yen. I also got a booklet menu and it showed that you can buy their caneles per piece. I tried. You cannot.

Anyway, what a pretentious place. I cannot stand pretentious places with snooty sales people. Worst experience in Japan in all my trips...
