Cat Cafe MOCHA was a ton of fun. We came in after dinner, around 19:00 or 20:00. You get a time-stamped ticket when you enter, put your things (including your shoes) in a locker) before entering the cat cafe area. My experience with cat cafes is that there is usually a coffee bar with some pastries and then a play area with the cats. This space, however, was much further beyond that. There were desks set up for people to work, and there were definitely people posted up with laptops and being productive. There were also people there recreationally just sitting and hanging out with the cats. A diverse array of spaces to enjoy: a tree with platforms, a giant table with more platforms all for the cats to rest on. There are couches, tables, chairs, a video game station, even beds with blankets— and plenty of places to charge your phone!!! I think the particular species of cat that are there are not particularly social; however, they have a lot of treat options to buy the cats’ love. Lol. They also have a giant manga library for you to enjoy, and included in your entrance fee is unlimited drinks: there are vending machines with a variety of drinks including coffee, teas, I think juice as well. I got a hot corn drink, which was really yummy. The only thing I would say is expect for the cats to not be immediately social or affectionate, but that is perhaps their nature. But the cat snacks are incredibly cheap, so I would recommend getting those. Note: Google cut the...
Read moreI rate 1 star because less is not allowed! Instead of a pleasant experience as I was expected to live, it turns into an unhappy moment due to management of service and behaviors of staff. I felt cheated… rules of cafè required to pay every 10 minutes of stay with obligation to pay a drink if you enter. Ok fine! I accept it and understand the policy but once I was at the check out to pay authomatic machine didn’t recognize my ticket and indicate to call the staff. I’ve immediately alerted them but in meantime the girl solved the issue with ticket couple of minutes has passed and my ticket showed an higher amount due to it was automatically charged this extra time never used on my amount. Staff play coy, despite the use of a translator for a clear tentative of communication and also a Japanese guest which help us with a perfect translation, she insist and continue to repeat same stupid things pretending not to understand. There’s no way to have a communication with her. Only way to solve is to accept and pay the extra. I was very stove of the situation. since the beginning she was very unpleasant and with coarse behavior which were totally unjustified in against us!
In the moment I was there all other guests didn’t find match on the amount. All of them were with wide-eyes on display…
Inside there’s couple of rooms with relaxing athmosphere and several cats. They are cute but didn’t want to be approached from no One. In doens’t worth it!

Read moreThe staff is so friendly and helpful! They speak decent English, and on my first visit one of the workers offered us an umbrella as we left since it was raining outside.
You pay per person for a 30 minute session, and if you’d like to stay longer you can pay extra. They give you slippers as well as a locker to store your shoes and belongings. There’s also a sink for you to wash your hands.
You can pet the cats freely, although it’s easier to get their attention if you pick up one of the cat treat cards and request it from a staff worker. They are about ¥500 each I believe. I recommend getting the cat lollipop. During my recent visit, it was Kuruton’s birthday! So he was dressed up extra cute.
My first visit was in the early evening and the store was not super busy and very peaceful. My second visit was in the early afternoon and I noticed a lot more people. But the ambiance is still pretty quiet.
They have a wide selection of Japanese manga as well as a complimentary drink machine for you to enjoy (make sure you get a lid to cover the drink). There is even a TV in the corner where you can play Mario Kart. There are also board/card games and cat ear accessories for you to use in the cafe lol.
I think I’ll have to come here every time I visit Tokyo. I love it here and I can’t recommend this place...
