Pros: every detail on the appetizer/cheese dish was the highlight of their prefix course IMO. Great combo of ingredients, fresh cheese, well pressed. Bravo to whomever came up with that dish. It was the only fish worth showing in the course IMO so I skipped the photos of the other dishes.
Cons: Staff training inadequate. Server asked if my wife and I wanted bread, then proceeded to take away my empty pasta dish with sauce remaining. It was clear the servers were inexperienced. That's fine, but I think management needs to tell them to provide the bread refill by the time the pasta dish arrives.
I thought the server realized the mistake until she proceeded to come back and take away my wife's empty pasta dish that still had a lot of pasta sauce left as that is how Italians would enjoy the remains of their pasta. I had to tell my wife to try her best not to laugh out loud when it happened the second time to not make the server feel bad for making such a simple mistake.
Pasta was the thicker kind, not ur typical spaghetti. I liked it but depends on the person IMO.
Prices on the website is different on the receipt and they did not disclose the table charge fee on their site. I'm fine with the fee but they need to properly disclose it on their reservation site for transparency reasons. It is also EXTREMELY difficult to understand what is part of the 5000jpy course fee and what isn't since the numbers on the receipt does NOT match up to the price prior to reserving the course. Attached photos are proof.
Conclusion: Worth going on a casual date but difficult to recommend for a special celebration since the bread fiasco and potential hidden fee non-disclosures makes the overall experience a lot to be desired at the end of the meal.
Still, worth trying out if u enjoy...

Onion soup was the smallest that I ever got but it was alright.
I did not like the Caesar salad but it was huge.
Tiramisu was highly recommend on other reviews and it was good, if tiny, but wasn't that impressive.
The prices were rather low for Ginza. If you are after a Western style pasta/soup experience at Ginza for an affordable price, this restaurant fits the bill. The noise was a deal breaker...
