You should not expect much in the way of service. Looking at low rating comments in the past, you can see why. Also, staff was returning rude comments to people who wrote low-rated comments, which made me feel very bad. The coffee tasted good, so it is very disappointing to see the poor response. I was explained that they were limiting the time I could spend in the store because they were dealing with Covid-19, but the staff kept talking loudly with what seemed to be a regular customer. This place was so awesome. I stayed in Tokyo for a month and this cafe quickly became my home cafe after my first visit. The environment was so pleasing the coffee and snacks complimented each other very well and the owner has a collection of things you can get swept up in including his snoopy paraphernalia, book and magazine collection, and even maps and booklets that show you other great cafes to check out! 5 stars out of 5 forsure! This place should be famous....

Cup sizes are huge (not the worst thing on a cold winter morning)!

Has little daily special bites like a croque monsieur/madame etc. Nothing fancy, but at the simple but good cheese toastie level.

The owner's a cool dude. Has connections in the coffee scene in Melbourne. Happy to have a chat with you in English too.
