Discovered this small Italian fusion restaurant last year and it has become my go to place whenever I am in Tokyo. I have been there 5 times and the menu was different each time my husband and I visited. Impeccable service from the 3 ladies working there. The female chef is from Okinawa who uses seasonal produce. She is always thoughtful and will split portion into two when she knows that we are sharing. Though the staff can't really speak English, we were still able to get by without difficulties. Read moreA unique experience in Takanawa. Tucked off the main street, what looks to be a suburban bar is actually a very cool italian/japanese fusion restaurant.
We found it online, went for the experiment and were delighted with the experience - incredible food that really does hit the fusion just right.
While we arrived without a reservation, the staff were beyond helpful setting us up on the terrace with blankets and a heater.
Menus are all in japanese only (not unexpected) but staff put their limited English to great use and all went well.
