Tastes like the ocean’s most well-groomed conch shell 🐚 Kiku Sushi by Shinagawa came through with the kind of raw fish that made me question my trip to Japan. Each piece slid into my mouth smoother than a Tokyo hostess on payday—silky, precise, and unapologetically fresh. If sushi is the sea’s offering to mankind, this place is harvesting straight from Poseidon. The toro? Melted like the thighs of an angel who’s been exfoliating with Himalayan salt. The scallop nigiri was so soft, so sweet, I started blushing mid-chew. Honestly, it had the gentle tang of high-grade mermaid—if you know, you know. Vibes were chill, prices fair, and the chef behind the counter was slicing like he was scoring love letters into every fillet. It’s not flashy, but it’s real. Unassuming on the outside, but serving up raw sensuality one rice ball at a time. One star off because the service wasn’t as quick as my thirst—but otherwise, I’d let this place feed me raw fish and false hope any day of the week.

Nice place which my colleagues brought us for dinner as it was just behind my hotel at Prince Sakura. It's a very local joint and I doubt i would have ventured there by myself. Really fresh sashimi and an assortment of sushi and I recommend it if you are staying near Shinagawa station. Might need some help with translating so Google is your friend
