I hate to give 1 star review but i needed to. We have friends coming from Australia so we met up for a nice catch up over drinks.
We were 4, ordered first round of drinks, 3 of us finished the drinks, but one still sipping his Jin tonic, then this female staff came to say to us, hey we have customers waiting here, if you guys don't order any drinks then you gotta leave and give the table to the next group.
We were super shocked by the way she said that, we waited 10 min? for the drinks to come, and it was prob 20-25mins into drinking, and we were gonna order some more drinks after my friend finished.
We just left for the next izakaya after my friend finished his Jin tonic. ( And there was no group waiting btw)
We all found the female staff very disrespectful, and prob won't here any more. The music and atmosphere was okay, but our experience largely impacted by their unprofessional staff behaviors. Whoever the owner is, you might need to retrain your staff. Ps: price...
Read moreThe atmosphere and music is great. So is the service. However, I understand you’re in the heart of Ginza, in a hip bar and that drinks are expensive but I feel taken advantage of. It’s hard to see from the picture but the drink glas was just a bit bigger than a shot glass and we all know the ice cube trick. It took me about 3 sips to finish it and pay ¥1,500 for a non-alcohol drink… and they were out of the main ingredient by the way, so replaced it with another juice. If the non-alcohol drinks would have been a bit bigger, I would visit the bar again. Most alcoholic drinks start from ¥2,000. On the positive side, there is no seat/music/bar charge and the DJ plays awesome tracks. You can also...
Read moreLiterally the best DJ I've ever listened to, on a great sound system, backed by amazing cocktails. So why 2 stars? Because it's a listening bar that's happy to allow a group of hooligans to walk in, shout louder than the $150,000 speakers with not a staff to reign them in or kick them out. People started to ask for bills and leave, waiters apologizing, and the noisy group prevailed. So, it's a 2 star bar where noisy people are welcome to wreck the experience while the patrons who came for a listening experience have to leave. There are better listening bars in Tokyo, head to 33 1/3 or any walk in around Shimokitazawa and you have a better experience on a cheaper...
