This is one of the best sukiyaki meals I’ve ever had. The highlight was the A5 Sendai beef—incredibly tender, beautifully marbled, and packed with rich umami flavor that melted in the mouth.
The vegetables were equally fresh and perfectly complemented the beef, adding balance and depth to every bite. What truly elevated the experience was the excellent sake pairing recommended by our attentive waiter—it matched the sukiyaki flawlessly and enhanced the overall flavor profile.
The service was warm and professional, with staff who took the time to explain each dish despite limited english proficiency and made sure we felt welcome and well cared for. The ambience of the restaurant was warm and cozy, making it a perfect setting to relax and enjoy such a comforting, high-quality meal.

Read moreGreat casual sukiyaki / eel rice restaurant on the second floor in the same building with a hotel. The service here was truly outstanding, an English menu was provided and the staff spoke very good English, which is still quite rare in Japan.
We ordered the sukiyaki set with the high quality beef and it really was delicious. As we were already familiar with sukiyaki and would not have required any assistance, the waitress showed us the ropes anyway enough to get us started.
The staff kept coming to check on us and even poured our drinks, answered our questions about proper sake etiquette and were just really friendly in general.

For the eel, we opted for the 3-style eel rice. Nicely presented and the ungagi is amazingly soft and juicy! I like how it taste with the restaurant's little dishes. The staff also patiently teaches us how to taste this special ungagi rice. ...and its only 3000yen!! Definitely...
