We wanted to try unagi while in Japan, and found this place. We walked in and without reservation on a weekend and were asked to wait for 15 minutes. The food was absolutely amazing! Mind blowing delicious! The fish was buttery and tender and paired beautifully with the sweet sauce soaked rice. The soup was eel liver, while it was for sure masterfully done, it might be an acquired taste. The service we received from the male staff was the worst we had for restaurants at this price level.
