Hidakaya Akihabara Ekimae — Restaurant in Tokyo

I was craving fried rice and I was satisfied with my meal! The serving size was good — I was full from my fried rice. My partner tried their tonkatsu ramen and she enjoyed it as well. Their draft beer is a good price, and is delicious. This was our second time trying Hidekaya, but our first time at this location.

This location is a bit smaller than the other one we went to, but it is still comfortable, and convenient. There is an ordering machine at the table, and we switched the language to English.

After eating, confirm that you finished your meal on the machine, and go up to pay. They had good service, and everyone around us seemed to be enoying their food, drinks, and conversations. I would happily return to Hidekaya in the future for the tasty food, fast service, good price, and convenient location. I ate here multiple times during my Tokyo trip. There are selection of ramen, fried rice, gyoza, and etc. Plenty of food options to choose from. The ordering is through a tablet at your seat and there is English option, so it is very convenient. After you are done ordering, they will bring the food to you, as well as the receipt for your order. After you’re done with your meal, you just have to press a button on the tablet and bring the receipt to the cashier.

Visited on a cold rainy morning, ordered a large serving of ramen and gyoza. The atmosphere was homey and the restaurant was spacious. Ordering is done through the machine right in front of your seat so it's very easy to order more if you want to.
