I recently visited Joint Burger in the Ginza area and was pleasantly surprised by their flexibility in catering to dietary preferences. They offer the option to substitute the meat patty in any burger with a soy patty, which was a major plus for me as a vegetarian. The staff member who served us was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He even went the extra mile to customize our order, which I truly appreciated.
The restaurant was quiet and empty during our visit, which made for a peaceful dining experience. While the burgers were well-prepared and enjoyable, I found the flavor profile a bit on the bland side. That said, they were still decent, and the soy patty option was a nice touch that made the meal feel inclusive.
Overall, Joint Burger is a solid choice if you’re looking for a place that caters to vegetarians or if you simply prefer a quieter spot to enjoy your meal. The service stood out as a highlight of the experience, and while the food could use a bit more seasoning, it’s still worth a visit for the customizable options and warm...
Read moreWe had a great time here. We got the classic hot dog and cheese hot dog, one with the Cajun fries and one with the consommé fries. Got a beer and grape soda. Everything was fresh and delicious. The standard serving of fries is small but it is included in the price of the hot dog so I had no expectations, plus you can order a larger size if you want (for a cost). The service was impeccable - they made ordering very clear and spoke good English. The place has a really cool vibe. It’s a bar and burger place - don’t expect a standard burger restaurant. I’ve read some of the other reviews and am a bit confused by some people complaining about the price and portion sizing. In my experience it’s common for the portion to be a bit smaller and the price more expensive for Western food in Japan (visiting from Australia). This is not a fault of this bar. The other thing I would suggest for tourists is to order a drink each. I think it may not be polite to come into a bar and only get food. I’m recommending this place to my friends...
Read moreWas craving some “safe” American food after experimenting with lots of adventurous foods the last week and a half. Chose this place based off other reviews. I probably would have missed it if I hadn’t been looking for it, as it’s in the basement level of a building.
Came in around 2000 tonight (a Thursday), the restaurant was almost empty. I was a little skeptical due to this, but was given a warm welcome from the staff. My boyfriend ordered a shot of whiskey and they gave him a generous pour which was much appreciated. We both ordered burgers which came with potato wedges. They had Japanese items on the menu as well.
The burgers were so flavorful and with melty, savory cheese which I’ve never had anything like before. We are from California and these burgers were better than much of what is available to us back home.
The staff were so friendly and thankful when we told them we enjoyed the meal. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great...
