We came here several times as they open from 7am until 10.30pm every day which is so good, as a lot of cafes in Tokyo don’t open until 10am for some reason. It’s really close to the the Shinjuku Gardens. There’s no longer a smoking section, and there is lots of people working on laptops or reading something from the book shelf or newspapers. (They even have a section of reading glasses, in case you’ve forgotten yours) Cute layout with lots of little private areas. Great Japanese coffee. I wish they had more vegetarian items on the menu, but I had toast with red bean paste. Staff are lovely, speak some English and they have an English menu. They take cash or card. There is free wifi.

The egg sandwiches taste just like the ones at Family Mart. The coffee is the worst we tried in all Japan. Service is good as usual. If you want Japanese food and an authentic experience, stay away. This place is clearly marketed to foreigners who don’t like local food. The only added value is the ability to seat.

It’s a traditional Japanese coffee shop. Service and beverages are good enough. Interior is updated when I visited. Good time have time here before and after taking a walk in Shinjuku-Ku park. Obviously, beverages and bread prices are higher than Starbucks because you can expect better service here, but not always.

Tasty but a bit pricey soy bean coffee. The place itself is pretty quiet, no background music. There are a lot of single space quite similar to a library, however you can't stay there for over 90 minutes if the cafe is busy. Electric sockets are available, you get water refill often.

I ordered morning set B and Shiro-nowaru. There were so many young people although it was early in the Saturday morning. If you order B set, you will be provided egg salad. Bread with egg salad was also delicious and Shiro-nowaru was a good experience.

Haven't tried the food, but had to give 4 stars because they have COFFEE JELLY! Bought the equivalent of an ice coffee and instead of shots of espresso the flavor comes from the COFFEE JELLY. As a coffee fan I am unnecessarily delighted.
