LUXURY STAND BAR & CAFE MILAS — Restaurant in Tokyo

Nice place. At the time of visiting there were works taking place, so it wasn't all available for seating and a little noisy. However, it was nothing serious and a temporary issue while the work was taking place.

The young fellow who served us was able to speak English well and seemed eager to do so. That made things easier for us.

My wife is Italian and a bit of a foodie and she was impressed by the food. The presentation was great and the atmosphere was comfortable, even though it was a hot August day outside.

Importantly for me, there was a good vegetarian/vegan menu. I had the meatless keema curry, while my wife had the chicken steak with rice. Both plates were well proportioned and satisfying.

The only issue was how difficult the place is to find. The poster advertising the vegetarian menu was a piece of A4 paper at the top of some stairs, and at the bottom of those stairs we're two shops, neither of which was the obvious place we were looking for.

Besides that, it was a good experience with good food and drink and a variety of veggie options....

Open for lunch! This experience was one of the weirder ones I've had in Japan. I stumbled in here after finding most places packed during lunch and here was entirely empty. The feel of the place is like a very fancy country club but is immediately toned down to Earth with the upbeat pop music playing. The staff speaks wonderful English and walked through the menu with me. I ordered the Special Steak set and I'm absolutely astounded by how delicious everything was (especially the steak). You don't gat any choices other than what you would like to drink, but it didn't matter because the food was...

Food is good, they present typical western and japanese-western fusion food. I ordered a roast beef set, which is quite delicious ans has a quite generous portion for a southeast asian guy Service is good, the staff can speak english quite well, which is very convenient Atmosphere. This aspect is where the restaurant shines. Very cozy and comfortable, maybe even better for drinking with friends. The table is a bit too low for normal lunch or dinner, but for drinking it's perfect The price is in the mid to high level, but standard / normal for a "luxury"...
