As regular customers of Mari Kitchen, we can confidently say that the food and service are consistently excellent. The dumplings are a standout - absolutely delicious and expertly made. What makes them special is their unique taste; you truly can't find dumplings like these anywhere else but in Ginza.
We highly recommend pairing them with their white wine. The wine's crispness beautifully complements the dumplings' unique flavor.
What's even better is that the white wine also pairs wonderfully with other dishes. We especially enjoyed their flavorful eggplant, which has a fantastic taste from its home made secure vinegar recipe - it's a perfect match. For an extra touch with the dumplings, try adding a little vinegar; it makes a delightful difference.
We appreciate that the food at Mari Kitchen always tastes and feels good, without any heavy or artificial ingredients. Their congee is also exceptional, made from traditional recipes and slow-cooked for over four hours. You can really taste the difference, and it's incredibly nourishing.

I asked her if we could pick dishes from the menu as we do not want set menu. She said, it is not possible. So I being unwell, decided to order set. Halfway eating through the food, we see local customers came in and they were given ala cart menu! This is a tourist trap. And the food is not even Cantonese! After the meal we had diarrohea. To restaurant owner: you can't cheat forever. I hope you focus to serve quality food and do justice and bring honor to Cantonese cuisine.

We shared two hot pot porridges: the ginkgo & dry scallop and peanut & salty cod congee. The ginkgo & dry scallop congee had strong ginkgo aroma and sea scallop savory. The peanut & salty cod tasted creamy peanut flavor and unique salty cod savory. Both are very savory and delicious. We love to cook and are amazed how the chef comes up with these ingredients: each pot congee pick one strong aroma from the Land and one unique savory from the Hokkaido. We do believe these congees have been slow cooked for a very long time, that is the reason all the nuts becoming creamy but still have full flavor.
