日本滞在最後の日、日本語があまりできない娘が探してくれました。「良くやった！」の一言です。こんなお店ずーっと来たかった。まずお店に一歩踏み入れた時点で正解感。ラッキーにもカウンターに座ることができ、スタッフの方々のキビキビとした動き、メニューのおすすめ(ネパールのお兄さんがヘルプしてくれました)そしてその間のスタッフの方々との会話も楽しむことができました。期間限定のみかんサワーから始まり、丸鶏丸揚げは勿論、クリームチーズの王様、真っ赤かの綺麗なキムチトマト、季節の10種野菜、昔懐かしいラーメン、石焼肉飯と閉店を目前に2人で食べまくりました。オーダーした品々は全て美味しく文句なしですが、それを上回るスタッフの方々のさりげないサービスとウェルカム感にやられた感じです。娘はこの次はお父さんと妹を連れて来ようと早くもリピート宣言しています。日本最後のとても良い思い出になりました。ありがとうございます。 It’s probably hard to enjoy the best possible way of your visit here unless you can speak some Japanese as they don’t have English menu. However, you can experience great Japanese Izakaya food, drink and atmosphere at Ruisuke. We appreciated the server explaining how each part of their famous chicken should be consumed. Yes get that chicken! We did enjoy kimchi tomato for its beautiful red color and its freshness. Stone baked rice with meat and cartridges can be enjoyed twice. First when the server mix it for you right in front and second time of course is when you eat. Staff members are just awesome! Kitchen chefs are paying attention to the customers from inside the counter while cooking and occasionally give directions to the serving staff so that the customers can have the best experience. They are all very helpful, polite as most of the Japanese people are, and fun. We truly loved the entire experience at ruisuke and expecting to return next time we are in Japan. Incredible way to cap off my Japan trip. Initially, I had planned to get a quick meal nearby, but I'm so glad I was tempted to go further afield. This is a great Izakaya experience. The food was superb, and the staff all extremely helpful and friendly. I'm a solo traveller, so sometimes I do tend to feel neglected by wait staff, who naturally direct their attention to larger groups. Not so here. The atmosphere was lively and convivial....

If, like us, you don't speak Japanese you can still get by, with some help. You can make a reservation online, and you'll have to bring a translator app with you — best a character reader so you can decipher the menu. When you get to actually order, you'll enjoy excellent chicken dishes, from fried to grilled, wings and legs, hearts and gizzards, and some very nice sake, in generous portions.
