If you eat in they will give you a plastic sign with a number on it, you are supposed to go sit down at a table and put the sign there, then a staff would bring your order to you (in case my fellow tourists never experienced this). Food is surprisingly cheap, like ~$6 for a large meal when a similar sized medium meal would be like $10 in America. We were going to explore the menu but a cashier waved at us and took our order and explained things nicely, he spoke great English. They take credit cards and Suica.
