There was a bit of a wait to get in and to order, because it was crowded. We had to wait outside and write a name on the reception book. Google translate can help you write your name in katakana. They call out your name when they're ready. Once in, we were seated and continued to wait until a waiter came to get our order. At first I thought they were avoiding us because we're foreigners but I think they were just really busy. It just seemed odd how long we were waiting, so we almost asked if we could order.
They only take cash. Considering the prices it would've been better if they took cards.
The food was pretty good. We got two parfaits based on the constellations. We also got the fries and pork katsu. The pork katsu wasn't great but the fries were nice and crispy. They also give sauce on the side; we got ketchup.
The interior was really pretty with stars on the ceiling and walls. The side towards the street was full glass with a nice view from the second floor.
They had an English menu as well. After ordering they gave us a sheet with cool horoscopes based on your...
Read moreIt's pricey compared to other restaurants, but you're paying for the aesthetic. We got the Aries and Tauros parfaits, as well as the frozen matcha and frozen lemon drink. I thought the Aries parfait tasted good and was filling, my husband seemed to like his Tauros parfait but it had a lot of jelly cubes at the bottom, more than we expected.
The frozen matcha was good, the frozen lemonade was super tart, I couldn't drink all of it.
If you sit by the window it really is nice for people watching.
The staff were very patient with us even though we didn't know much Japanese and kept going to the wrong spots lol. A tip so that you look less dumb than we did- you want to take the stairs up to the cafe, if you go in the elevator in the adjacent building you end up in the back of the cafe and you need to walk through it all and go out the front to put your name down on the...
Read moreI got the “Cancer constellation” parfait which had cream puffs, a shimi choco stick that looked like a churro, star cookies, whipped cream, and soft serve cream drizzled with chocolate. It was quite good and I was thoroughly enjoying it but was surprised to find at the bottom of the glass there was fruit jelly or something similar mixed with the cornflakes and it didn’t quite go well with the chocolate taste and overall theme of the parfait. I would have preferred banana or something rather than super sweet random fruit jelly. My friend got the coffee ice drink and it was very good and sweet. The portions are larger than I expected so one parfait and drink can easily be shared! Cannot pay separately at the register so be prepared for that. The ambiance of the cafe is truly magical. Will return to try...
