Not worth the wait. Well, as I am Vietnamese who happened to live near the place and therefore spent my whole childhood eating the original Pho Thin in Hanoi Vietnam this version is only 30-40% as good as the original one. Blame it that I am a picky eater but I was quite disappointed actually with the pho I ate after waiting more than 30mins. The beef was under marinated and then overcooked over medium heat. Instead it should be well marinated for a good 30 mins and then lightly stir fried over high heat so that the inside of the beef is medium rare and still juicy. Well the chef certainly doesn’t know how to cook, turned out I felt like I was chewing rubber (now Im in doubt of the quality of the beef). The original Pho thin comes with a good amount of spring onion and coriander, actually too much to the extent that you cant see the pho under it. It’s pho thin style, no question asked! Here nope u only got a proportion of it. The service is on par with other Japanese restaurant, the Japanese style of hospitality! Well I hope that the owner read my review and can take it as a point to improve the quality of the pho he is selling. For the time being I won’t waste my time to come back. For the price it’s more expensive than other Pho sold in Tokyo, for a similar price you can get a lunch set with pho, spring rolls and a side salad dish instead.

I'm not usually this critical about a store, so I'll start by saying the good things.
But here is where I have to be real here. The food is par on the chain restaurant experience with no real knowledge on the Vietnamese experience or food tastes.
Didn’t expect that it’d be that good. The taste is almost the same as the famous Pho Thin in Hanoi. The normal one has lots of lots of scallion and cilantro (in japanese they’re called ねぎ、パクチー) I was so surprised with that huge amount even though I’m vietnamese. So if you can’t eat or don’t want to try either scallion or cilantro, there’s an option in the menu (it’s like the vending machine you choose your dish and pay and then give the ticket to the staff) just don’t forget to choose it. The space is tiny, however. So it’s always crowded and have to line up for a very long time (we waited for more than 30 minutes) just to get inside. Still worth the wait so i’d highly...
