Eating here felt like visiting a part of history tucked away in the back streets of Kanda. As many others mentioned, the menu is not only all in Japanese, but it’s all penned in a stylized font(?) that even my Japanese friends had some trouble reading, and they use some less common terms for things (the horse sashimi was called さくらさしみ for example). However, the food was great, service was decent, and overall the prices were extremely reasonable - we were surprised how cheap the bill was at the end. Read more최근 리뷰를 보니까 별로란 얘기가 많아서 걱정했는데 결론적으론 이번 도쿄 여행 중에서 가장 만족하는 장소가 됐네요.
일손이 조금 부족한 건 사실인 것 같으나 다들 정말 친절하시고 영어로 소통이 어느정도 가능합니다. 안주도 빨리 나오고 퀄리티도 좋습니다. 일본 가면 전통적인 이자카야를 꼭 가고자 했었는데 이곳이 니즈에 100% 부합하는 곳이였네요. 다음에 도쿄 오면 무조건 재방문 의사 있습니다!! 결제는 현금만 가능하고 영어 메뉴판 구비되어있습니다.
*2024.08 기준, 시메사바는 여름이라 그런가 안 팔고, 여전히 친절하시고 맛은 너무나도 훌륭합니다! 직원 분에게 감사를 표합니다. 제가 많이 마셔서 그렇지 굉장히 저렴하고 맛도 퀄리티도 훌륭합니다!
It was the most fascinated places for me during my trip in Tokyo. All staffs were very very kind and they can communicate in English, so there was not any uncomfortable thing. Also, they tried to help as the best they could do if I have some requirement.
The quality of food was perfect, especially “Akami”, “Shima-Saba”. They have various alcohol drink and food, so you can experience the best Japanese traditional culture of bar in here. I want to visit here again literally.!!

〇どんなお店 明治38年創業の日本最古の居酒屋として知られる「みますや」。 どじょうや牛煮込み、馬刺しなど、江戸時代の味わいをそのままに、こだわりの料理を提供しています。
〇店内 テーブル席、土間、座敷席が揃い、歴史を感じさせる趣のある空間です。 木の温もりとレトロな内装が心地よく、落ち着いた時間を過ごせます。

〇食レポ ・牛煮込み(650円) 柔らかく煮込まれた牛肉がほろほろと崩れ、味噌のコクと出汁の旨味が絶妙なバランス。箸が止まらない美味しさで、お酒との相性も抜群です。
・どじょう(750円) 骨まで柔らかく煮込まれたどじょうは、甘辛いタレが全体に絡み、独特の風味が広がります。見た目のインパクトとは裏腹に、とても美味しく、まさに江戸の味を堪能できます。
・馬刺し赤身(1,300円) 新鮮な赤身は弾力があり、噛むほどに肉の旨味が広がります。脂肪が少なく、後味はさっぱりとしていて、どんなお酒とも相性抜群。
・馬刺し霜降り(1,300円) とろけるような食感と脂の甘みが特徴の霜降り。上品でリッチな味わいが口の中いっぱいに広がります。
・ねぎま(550円) ふっくらと焼き上げられた鶏肉はジューシーで、ネギの甘みがさらに引き立ちます。香ばしい香りが食欲をそそる一品です。
・刺身盛り合わせ(2,000円) 新鮮な魚介が美しく盛り付けられた一皿。プリプリとした食感と素材そのものの旨味が堪能できます。
・焼きおにぎり(550円) 外は香ばしくカリッと焼き上げられ、中はふんわり柔らかい絶品の焼きおにぎり。締めにぴったりの一品です。
