Things were nothing special and other similar types of shops are better.
Watery, weak beer... that okura ahijo was one of the worse things I have tasted in a while.
Many shops now use apps for ordering which I am not a fan of as it takes away from people getting together as everyone is staring at there phones. This shop is incredibly annoying as you need a LINE account to order, and those of us who don't like LINE nor want to share private info without opt out options for comms are forced to if we want to eat and drink there (wonder if there is a way to know this before sitting down...)
Also with ordering via a phone, the online menu for drinks are in some cases just numbers and you need to refer to the paper menu, which defeats the purpose.
It is a brewery and with a two hour limit, last order for drinks was after 90 minutes, but food was later. Backwards.
It seems like their business model is to treat customers like cattle and just herd people in and out. Clearly a tourist trap for people who may not...

I came for lunch and they were having lunch set promotion. There was free refill or organic tea and salad. I ordered pasta bottarga and mentaiko with butter and it didn’t disappoint. The pasta was flavorful and delicious and its texture was springy and soft to my liking.
After I finished my pasta I ordered their famous handmade pudding and it was the best pudding I had ever had. The pudding was showered with caramel sauce, to my surprise it wasn’t overly sweet at all. Topped with the vanilla flavored gelato, the pudding tasted like heaven. It was so soft and delicious that I craved more of it after I finished it.
Overall I enjoyed my dining experience here and the food was reasonably priced. Wish I had more stomach for more food. Would love to come back again to try their pizza if I...
Read moreI came here after dinner just for their pudding, and it did not disappoint. Rich, creamy, and with just the right amount of firmness, it was everything I hoped for. I especially appreciated that they served it with vanilla ice cream instead of the usual forgettable whipped cream—an upgrade that made all the difference.
What did surprise me, though, was the service, which felt a bit lacking—something you don’t typically encounter at a Japanese establishment. Granted, I arrived closer to closing time, but that still doesn’t justify clearing plates off my table before I was finished. The wait staff also really seemed eager to close and were rushing around, which lead to one of them bumping into me at my seat.
Would I come back for the pudding? Absolutely. But next time, I’d hope for the service to match the quality of...
