T's Tantan, nestled in the bustling Gransta Tokyo, stands out as a culinary gem for those seeking a delicious and authentic taste of vegan tantanmen. With its innovative approach to plant-based cuisine, warm ambiance, and exceptional service, T's Tantan invites diners on a flavorful journey that transcends expectations.

The ambiance at T's Tantan is cozy and inviting, creating a welcoming space within the bustling Gransta Tokyo. The contemporary decor and open kitchen design allow diners to witness the artistry behind each bowl of tantanmen. The focus on sustainability and plant-based dining is evident in the eco-friendly touches, contributing to the restaurant's commitment to a holistic dining experience.

The star of the show, undoubtedly, is the vegan tantanmen. T's Tantan has mastered the art of crafting rich and flavorful broth, using plant-based ingredients to create a tantanmen that rivals its meat-based counterparts. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the toppings add layers of texture and taste. The menu offers a variety of tantanmen options, allowing patrons to choose their preferred level of spiciness and toppings.

One standout feature is the inclusivity of the menu. T's Tantan caters not only to vegans and vegetarians but also to those seeking a healthier alternative without compromising on taste. The thoughtful preparation and presentation of each dish showcase a dedication to providing a tantanmen experience that transcends dietary preferences.

The staff at T's Tantan contribute significantly to the warm and friendly atmosphere. Attentive and knowledgeable, they guide patrons through the menu, provide recommendations, and ensure that the dining experience is seamless. The dedication to customer satisfaction and the passion for plant-based cuisine are palpable in every interaction.

While T's Tantan is known for its vegan tantanmen, the prices are reasonable, considering the quality of ingredients and the attention to detail in preparation. The portion sizes are generous, making it a satisfying and fulfilling dining option for both solo diners and those exploring plant-based cuisine.

In conclusion, T's Tantan in Gransta Tokyo is a haven for those seeking a tantalizing bowl of vegan tantanmen. Whether you follow a plant-based diet or simply want to savor a delicious and innovative take on this classic dish, T's Tantan delivers a culinary experience that delights the senses. It's not just a meal; it's a celebration of plant-based flavors, sustainability, and the art of crafting a tantanmen that leaves a lasting impression on the taste buds...

I actually enjoyed this place much more than I had anticipated. According to the restaurant, everything is vegan, however, I'm not sure if the noodles are gluten free. I ordered the tonkotsu and I was surprised by how yummy it tasted. The broth was creamy with the correct amount of saltiness. The ramen also has a nice amount of sesame seeds which makes the flavor bolder. I want to say there might have been some peanut sauce in my ramen but i could've mistaken the smell from someone else's ramen.

The restaurant is super clean and has a nice chic vibe to it. The staff members also speak English and they can provide English menu if you request it. Since this restaurant is located in Tokyo it is no surprise that a lot of the patrons are foreigners. It was kind of cool to hear people speaking and enjoying their food without having to worry about disturbing others - this makes the restaurant feel very comforting. If u are in Tokyo station looking for something vegan then I suggest you check out this location. You won't be disappointed.

I took away 1 star because the portions are small and the sides (gyozas) were very bland and weren't crunchy.

T's TanTan is located on the left side of the Ecute Keiyo street, besides these deep escalators that take u to the line to Tokyo Disney. So if you are coming from Tokyo Disney then once u go up the long escalator the restaurant will be...

Fantastic place for ramen particularly for vegans and vegetarians as you can be sure they use no animal products. The ramen itself is delicious, myself and other people I went with tried the white sesame ramen, golden sesame ramen, and black sesame ramen, which were all quite flavourful. The broth wasn't just salty there were more flavours and the soy/peanut dressing they put on top really adds a great depth to the broth once it's mixed in. The noodles were thin, made without egg, and cooked perfectly. There was a good assortment of vegetables served with each ramen. The vegan gyoza (incredibly hard to find in Tokyo) were delicious and especially so when dipped in ramen broth. The service was excellent, having been there twice now I can say this for sure. Everyone who works there is incredibly nice and knows rudimentary English, plus the menu is in English. They even have their own pot noodles which you can buy and take away, plus other things such as dry soy meat or vegetable broth powder. Highly recommended this restaurant to anyone passing through Tokyo station. Even if you aren't get a platform ticket for 140 yen and go anyway, it's worth it! They definitely need to open more branches outside of Tokyo and Ueno stations as for both you need a platform or JR ticket to access them. Metro passes won't get you into the main station...

Looking for vegan food in Japan? 🍘🍡🍱 I got you! I am not a strict vegan and also eat vegetarian, but I wildly prefer vegan. If you are 100% vegan, it's going to be very difficult in Japan and you will need to do lots of planning beforehand. That being said, there are quite a few dishes that I call my go to in Japan: YAKIONIGIRI (焼きおにぎり) a grilled rice ball with miso paste. You can often find these in traditional villages and festivals / food stalls CHOCO BANANA (チョコバナナ) can be vegan, make sure dark chocolate is being used 🍫 IMO KOROKKE (芋コロッケ) Deep fried sweet potato croquette 🥮 The oil being used might be used for other kinds of korokke containing meat or fish. GREEN BURGER (グリーンバーガー) from Mos Burger. You can also request most other burgers to swap the meat with the soy patty! 🍔 SHOYU RAMEN (醤油ラーメン) can be vegan, but also could contain dashi. You can find vegan ramen at T's tantan and Kyushu Jangara (several stores across Japan) YUBA (湯葉) tofu skin is a specialty from Nikko and is often served as part of a kaiseki or breakfast at a ryokan. There are also Yuba soba and other variations around 🍜 YAKI IMO (焼き芋) steamed sweet potato is my go to snack that you can find pretty much anywhere around Japan 🍠 YASAI TEMPURA (野菜天ぷら) fried tempura vegetables are often a part of soba sets. I had success asking them to leave out the meat or seafood and make just the vegetables instead if it wasn't explicitly on the menu 🤓 KUSHIKATSU (串カツ) deep fried skewered vegetables. They usually have a big variety! Ask about if they use separate sections to fry the vegetables, they don't always do 🫣 STRAWBERRY DAIFUKU (いちご大福) the most filling sweet you'll ever find 🍓🍡 AGEDASHI TOFU (揚げ出し豆腐) traditionally served with a dashi sauce, this one can be vegan if swapped for a different sauce. YAKIDANGO (焼き団子) rice dumplings on a skewer - sometimes sweet, sometimes savory! Incredibly filling, make sure to chew well 🫣🍡 Have you tried any of these before? ☺️ Follow me for more Japan travel tips! #japantravel #veganjapan #veganjapanesefood
