Nihonbashi Otako Main Branch is a must-visit restaurant for those looking for an authentic and delicious dining experience. The restaurant has a rich history, having served customers for over a century, and is a popular spot in the neighborhood.

While the restaurant offers a range of dishes including sashimi and skewers, their oden is the star of the show. I ordered the one person omakesa set which came with 4 oden items, handpicked by the chef. The taste of the oden was incredible - the broth had a rich umami flavor that perfectly complemented the ingredients, and each bite was incredibly satisfying.

In addition to the oden, I also tried their signature tofu over rice which was a real highlight. The tofu was expertly cooked and melted in the mouth, and the sauce perfectly complemented the rice. It was a true delight for the taste buds.

I also ordered the 5 skewer set, and while they were a bit salty for my liking, they were still incredibly tasty and well-cooked.

Overall, Nihonbashi Otako Main Branch is a top-notch restaurant with fantastic food and a rich history. If you're looking for a unique and delicious dining experience, this restaurant is not...

Saw this place being recommended on YouTube. Was a huge disappointment. Everything was way too salty. I read some comments after saying that one of the server wasn’t too fond of foreigners and I think they’re right. Our server (male with shaved head) completely ignored us when we were trying to get his attention. Only reason why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the first server that took our drink order was nice to us.

We really wanted to try oden in Japan, and this place was a great place to satisfy that craving. They have English menus with pictures, so it was still relatively easy to point to what we wanted to order.

You have to order at least 1 drink per person with the oden, but that's not a big deal in the end. All the items were so flavorful that the drinks end up helping.

My only negative would be the narrow stairs up the...
