Had dinner at this restaurant last night with my daughter. Initially the waitress was helpful in guiding me to gluten intolerant choices. Then things fell apart. I ordered a salad and cheese risotto. I never did get my salad. We asked for water a couple of times and finally were brought half a glass each. The most annoying part was our waitress would stand at the front door with her hands clasped in front of her, doing nothing for several moments at a time. We tried to catch her attention, a couple of times regarding the missing salad, to have our water refilled, the dirty dishes to be removed from the table or to bring our bill. When we finally did get her attention and were brought the bill, I checked it to make sure they did not put the cost of the nonexistent salad on it, the waitress appeared very offended - so much so she had a co- worker bring my credit card back to the table. Also, we realized that we were charged ¥1100 to sit at their table and eat the olives, they brought us. Pretty nervy, considering they did not mention this upon arrival. Have you ever been to a restaurant where they bring you something you have not asked for and then they charge for it? I did not need their olives!

Read moreThe Ragu spaghetti with stracciatella was to die for! It was so perfect I immediately ordered another bowl after I finished the first one in a few minutes. Plenty of good wines to choose from (and other drink options as well)
Located in a lovely part of Tokyo that was a bit quieter than others.
Staff was friendly enough as well, however the wait to be served was a bit slow but nothing to complain too much about.
All around fantastic and dying to go back and eat...

Is this how one treats tourists and guests? Back in my country it is disrespectful to treat guests like this and rules can be overruled and the...
