Sapporo Ushitei — Restaurant in Tokyo

Dropped by Sapporo Gyutei Minami-Ikebukuro today and had the 200g hamburg steak set, cooked medium. It was seriously good — super beefy flavor with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture that almost felt like liquid beef. You can tell the quality of the meat is top-notch.

The restaurant has a cozy underground vibe. We managed to get a seat without waiting, but it stayed completely full the whole time we were there, which says a lot. Despite that, service was smooth and efficient — no delays, no hassle.

The rare meat was incredibly soft and tender. It literally melted in my mouth 🥩 However, or because of that distinct feature, I can rarely feel the juiciness of the meat! It largely depends on people’s preferences though. The sauce was super salty, which made it difficult for me to taste the genuine flavour of the meat. It was a shame.
