I recently dined at this restaurant and found the experience to be underwhelming. The texture of the rice for sushi rolls was off and it didn't taste fresh, which was quite disappointing. Other dishes we tried were mediocre at best. The prices were way too high given the quality of the food.

Drinks were mandatory with the meal, but the selection was very limited—just one page each for Japanese sake and wines. This lack of variety was surprising.

To top it off, one of the staff members seemed to lack patience and displayed an unwelcoming attitude towards foreign travelers even though I was able to communicate in Japanese. Overall, it wasn't the dining experience I...

This place looks good on paper, but the reality is that the flavors are bland and the service is terrible. The rice has has none of the flavors you’d expect from rolled sushi—no vinegar, no sake, no kelp—nothing. The salad has nice vegetables, but the dressing tastes like something out of a bottle. Both the fried swordfish (not the “marlin” that’s advertised) and the spring rolls taste like they came from the freezer. They have an artistic touch on Suhsi. Other dishes are also astetically appealing. BUT they seem to have weird rules to make customer order more. We were a group of 4. First they said we all have to order drinks as well. Ok, no problem. Then while we were eating, a staff came and said that we should order two appetisers as well, in addition to the food we had already ordered, so we ended up with two large sushi sets.
