My favorite spot when I stayed near Shinjuku station, this place was very welcoming. During my Japan visit I found myself a bit apprehensive when entering sushi restaurants. But this place was very hospitable and I really enjoyed the ordering system. When you walk in, they tell you where to stand, and they hand you a QR code to scan you can then choose what you want and the sushi chefs get to work on your order, this makes it really convenient if you don’t speak Japanese.

I first came to this place with a friend 13 years ago. It was even featured in guidebooks back then. Now, it has fallen below even my saddest expectations: the prices have gone down, but the fish quality is average, and the rice isn’t properly formed, doesn’t taste properly.
