Must book in advance I was able to call and book the day of right when they opened at 5pm for a 9:30pm dinner reservation. This place is ran by a sweet little old lady. It's located on the second floor. It is small and clean. Bathroom is located outside in the hallway.
The menu is only in Japanese however, not to worry. They only serve one thing which the restaurant is known for. Their premium beef sukiyaki. There is also beverages (alchohol & soft drinks) you can order. The reservation is made so they can prepare the dish by portion.
The dish came with 2 person portion of beef, potato noodles, tofu, mushrooms, leek, cabbage, spinach and a raw egg to dip your beef in. You that egg dip as your bowl as they don't serves additional plates or bowls. They will serve you and continually come back and add the rest of your dish or broth into the hot pot.
The owner will personally come up to you and gift you some good luck charms. After dinner she'll personally say thank you and shake your hands. I thought that was extremely thoughtful and sweet of her. I hope when I come back, she will still be there.
The waiter who served me was another sweet little old lady who spoke extremely good English. She self taught herself here in Japan but has never left the country to study abroad. God bless them. I hope to come back some day!
Oh and the total for just the meal was 7400 Yen which us...

The meat and vegetables ( esp green onion) was great quality but I didn’t feel good price for the potion as another reviewers mentioned. We ordered Sukiyaki course(¥3900 inc tax /pp), but it excluded rice or udon noodle and dessert. I expect that “Course” must be included them as a local. So.. I ordered udon noodle (¥400) additionally but it was like kids size. A grandma showed us how to eat at first, which is great for a beginner. After, she said you can cook by yourselves for the rest then she left. But frequently staff came and turned meat over even though we wanted to focus chatting and felt interrupt a lot .. I’ll look for another...
Read moreIt is 2F - so… the second floor. There is both a sign (not in English) on the building on the outside and a sign (In Japanese only) on the ground outside… you scoot past a bar aaannnd stairs going down to another bar, through a hall that looks like it’s for “employees-only” and either into the elevator or up the stairs and you are at the front door of the place. Small place… if you are a party of 3+, you will almost assuredly need to make a reservation.
Yummy food, pleasant staff… shabu or sukiyaki are your only choices. You can order more meat if you’d like- you also need to order rice and/or noodles. (glass noodles come with - other kinds do not.)
A wheelchair would be extremely difficult to accommodate in...
