We visited this restaurant as a group and ordered 中落ちカルビ, but many of the pieces served to us were almost entirely chunks of fat with barely any meat. We raised this concern to the staff on the spot, pointing out that this quality seemed unusual, but the response was: “中落ちカルビ is supposed to be like this. If you don’t want it so fatty, you should order カルビ instead.” From my understanding, however, 中落ちカルビ should actually be less fatty than regular カルビ.
On top of that, the other meat we tried also tasted noticeably not fresh, which was very disappointing.
Additionally, the staff misheard the order of a ginger ale as a highball. While I understand that miscommunication with foreign can happen, such a mistake is very dangerous for someone who is allergic to alcohol.
Overall, while the staff were very friendly, the quality issues and the drink mix-up made for a very unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend...
