It’s that kind of place and experience that I had to immediately share with my loved ones for them to experience as well. Chef and his team were so lovely towards us, even though we spoke extremely limited Japanese. We felt the warmth of their hospitality and that left a lasting impression.

The sushi was phenomenal. I could really taste the care and consideration put into every piece of sushi, and most importantly, chef Nakamura practices restraint in seasoning. What you end up getting is a course with perfectly well-balanced and amazing tasting nigiri. Still thinking of the yellowtail with a smidge of togarashi 2-3 weeks later. Best piece of yellowtail I’ve ever had in my life.

Last but definitely not least, I really was blown away by the details they put into things that people may not come for. The miso soup at the end of the course was filled with earthy fresh mushrooms and a slice of lime for the refreshing twist. The complimentary green tea served was also from actual powder and not the tea bag crap I got from other bigger sushi places. Hats off to Sushi Nakamura for caring about your craft and...

Absolutely incredible omakase experience. My sister and I came here to celebrate my birthday- it was the best birthday meal ever! Every single bite was out of this world, a burst of flavours. Chef Nakamura prepares high quality fish with the best care. The owners made us feel so welcomed and special, we did not speak the same language yet communicated though Google translate, made each other laugh and had a blast. Would 100% recommend to anyone. I’ll be back next time...

We had a splendid experience at Sushi Nakamura last night. We booked online as our farewell dinner from our trip to Japan for our honeymoon. We enjoyed what I believe is a truly unique experience. Great ambience, a small bar around the chef with few seats, and all the attention of the staff for the few lucky guests. It’s difficult to pick favorites, but the boiled eel, the fatty tuna and the sea urchin were specular. Pricey experience, but worth...

Very nice environment, small yet warm. This restaurant serves omakase, i.e. there is no menu and the chef will prepare the food for you on his own will. The food is delicious and of superior quality. The staffs are friendly and helpful who are ready for your service and questions all the time. Price is around 15000 Yen to 20000 Yen per person which is reasonable. Highly recommended.

Extremely delicious omakase, awesome chef and staff. He doesn't speak English but he was extremely kind and used Google translate to communicate. Everything from the first bite to the last was incredible. Stuff was Japanese with a modern twist. Made a reservation. Get some sake as well, it really complements the dishes. One of the best meals I've had in Japan.
