Left the restaurant feeling very underwhelmed - mapo tofu was lukewarm at best and it didn’t even taste spicy or numb. The chicken was cut into really tiny piece (and it is a very small portion) so I couldn’t really savour it fully with each bite. Was originally happy to find this restaurant with good review around my house, but the weekday lunch menu was really a shame and waste of time. Surprised to see queue during lunch time, but I guess it is also because this is the only Chinese restaurant around the area.. Didn’t try the weekend or dinner menu, which looks decent from photo. But from the lunch experience, I probably would pass it

The second set is dandan noodles without soup included mochi pork shumai, small bowl drooling chicken and soup. The mochi pork shumai taste nice. The stir-fried pork set with spicy sauce the meat is abit hard and the sauce is normal. Nothing special. The dandan noodles without soup is something different and taste good.

Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Set menu only on Fridays and Saturdays. Book ahead of time at this place is very popular. I went on a Saturday and had the 3500 JPY set menu. Everything was delicious, from the "yodare" (saliva/mouth watering) chicken, braised beef brisket, bamboo shoots, radish cake, leek dumpling and a final option of mapo tofu with rice or "no soup" spicy tantan noodles.
