I strongly do not recommend tourists to eat at this sushi restaurant. The four of us ordered the extreme sushi for 24,200 yen, but the experience was worse than eating conveyor belt sushi. Most of the sushi is not seasoned, you need to dip soy sauce by yourself. But it should be seasoned by the chief before giving the sushi to the guests in omakase course. There are two or three broken shells in the crab. (only one of us did not eat the shell) There are two or three types of sashimi or sushi that are not broken the tendons, especially the fatty tuna, had knife marks but there were still a lot of tendons. There was sand in the small clams in the miso soup, and there was no place to spit it out. We made a reservation using tabelog and did not ask for a private room, but the table in front of the chief was full. We were arranged to go to a private room on the second floor so that we could not watch the chief making sushi and eat the sushi immediately. However, an additional 10% of the private room fee (not service fee) was added when we checked out. The chief came up to talk to us and cancel the private room fee after my friend argued this situation to the clerk. (we suspect that the store deliberately queued foreign guests to the second floor because of the language barrier. The foreign guests next to us also suspected that the private room fee was...
Read moreWalked by this place around 8:45 pm looking for sushi options and the restaurant and chef kindly made seats for us even though we didn’t have a reservation. The chef explained each dish and piece of sushi—and it was a great experience watching him prepare each piece. The fish tasted extremely fresh and each piece was delicious from start to finish. The chef took notice that I am left handed, and began placing the sushi in a way that was easier for me to pick up. Overall very friendly, accommodating...
