Super cute place near our hotel. My husband and I wanted an authentic sushi experience and we got that here. At first we thought the sushi chef (Coji? Cozi?) was kind of stand off ish but after we agreed to the amount of sushi and the price he wrote out, he turned out to be a fun guy. He was very sweet and tried his hardest to speak English. Read moreWe stumbled upon this restaurant (26/02) after shopping and were pleasantly surprised by both the food and the owner/chef. This was our first time trying Kyoto style sushi. This style is tasty and you can tell that the preparation is carefully made and professionally done. The potato soup was very surprising, and is definitely a highlight. The chef is very kind and made sure to greet us in our own language. He explained carefully what everything was, even with the language barrier, and gave us a great laugh. We would highly recommend this place and will visit again when we have the chance....
