Super cute place near our hotel. My husband and I wanted an authentic sushi experience and we got that here. At first we thought the sushi chef (Coji? Cozi?) was kind of stand off ish but after we agreed to the amount of sushi and the price he wrote out, he turned out to be a fun guy. He was very sweet and tried his hardest to speak English. The sushi was soooo delicious. He told us what fish was used and gave us a small dish of soy sauce. He talked to us and asked where we were from and we talked about our families. Once our sushi was done, he brought out potato soup which was phenomenal. We each had a large beer. I am sad we don’t live here to visit again. Also, the little frog decor on our plate was...

My partner and I stumbled upon Sushi 468 on our trip to Tokyo. We had hopes to experience authentic sushi in Japan, and we found that, and much more at Sushi 468.

The owner of the shop is extremely friendly, and created hands down the best sushi I have ever tasted (coming from West-coast Canada). The textures, flavours and freshness of his sushi were incredible, not to mention his delicious potato soup!

The small space allowed for a more personal experience, and the owner was happy to share his passion for his art of traditional-style sushi. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone, and look forward to coming again when we visit Japan in the...

We stumbled upon this restaurant (26/02) after shopping and were pleasantly surprised by both the food and the owner/chef. This was our first time trying Kyoto style sushi. This style is tasty and you can tell that the preparation is carefully made and professionally done. The potato soup was very surprising, and is definitely a highlight. The chef is very kind and made sure to greet us in our own language. He explained carefully what everything was, even with the language barrier, and gave us a great laugh. We would highly recommend this place and will visit again when we have the chance....
