Yesterday, I walked around Ginza with my mom and there was a nice lady handing us a brochure about Tempura Yasuda. We both didn't know where to eat that night, so we decided to try it out, since the brochure also had English translations. It felt welcoming and when we went there, we were greeted nicely. We felt comfortable right away. Since we had to wait a short time (like 2 minutes maximum) the lady working there handed us a menu in both Japanese and English, as well as a drink menu in English. Once my mom and I decided we ordered. It went very smoothly and the interactions were more than nice. My mom got a water and I got a coca cola. After we ordered food, we both got a miso soup as a complementary. The food arrived shortly after and it was delicious. We had such nice interactions with the cook and the waitress and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I can highly recommend this place for anyone looking for really good Tenpura with a good atmosphere. Both my mom and I still talk about our food and experience there days after. We both want to go to Tempura Yasuda again soon. Over all I give it a 6/5 stars, even if I can only give 5 on Google. Highly recommend it...
Read moreI found this place on Tabelog. I had a great experience. The owner doesn't speak much English but was trying to communicate. I'm a picky eater and rarely give good reviews, but I strongly...
Read moreTempura Yasuda is a hidden gem in Ginza! It is a very small store in a basement with a long counter and chairs, plus a private dining room. However, the seat is comfortable and counter space sufficient. It gives me the Midnight Diner vibe. I ordered #1 from the menu which comes with three boxes of tempura. The seafood is fresh and the vegetables tasty. The waitress (very likely the owner herself) speaks good English and we had no problem communicating. Highly recommended if you look for delicious and...
