My spouse and I have been members of Tokyo American club in Azabudai for over 20 years. This is the satellite club of the Tokyo American club in Azabudai. It is a more formal, sophisticated, and upscale version of its predecessor and thankfully, it is quiet and serene:
-staff are mostly pleasant and greet members as one would expect from a private club. Note: I do think they truly lost a great employee(Rgs~ protecting their privacy) in the fitness section. Since this employees departure, my trainer has had to place a towel over dirty/sweaty mats before stretching which was never the case when Rg*s was employed.
-the fitness area has a spectacular gym with 2 jacuzzi’s, and a sauna.
-For Tokyo, the restaurant is quite good although the portions are a wee bit small even for Japanese-size. The burger is phenomenal.
It is a sunny place located on an upper floor in Nihonbashi. It is a wonderful place to workout 🏋️♀️ in, in an upscale, sophisticated gym with modern equipment.
-My trainer is caretaking and professional.
-it is an adults-only club.
-It’s located close to Mitsukoshi department store which is extremely convenient if you want to pick up something there on the way home. The basement is like a food museum with decadent food offerings.
-we attended a VIP dinner gathering that Mr. Esc*n had organized . His attention to details are bar none: a multi-course dinner with phenomenal food, its presentation was surreal. Chef Oikawa gifted us with his talent and we were even provided with traditional Japanese tea service which provides tea to the Imperial family…fingers crossed other VIP...
