There was a rude waitress. While I was waiting in line as the right order, she suddenly told me to stand at the back of the line, behind another foreign family. When I asked why, she didn’t explain and just repeated that I should move to the back. Then she started serving the foreign family who arrived after me. I suddenly understood: she assumed, without asking, that I had cut in line ahead of the foreign family and arbitrarily told me to stand behind them for no reason. I questioned her, asking why I, who arrived earlier, should be moved to the back. When she realized her mistake, she didn’t apologize or explain anything to me for her mistake and bad manner. She simply paused serving the wrong customers and began to serve me, who should have been served according to the order.

I can't understand why this waitress, without any reason, assumed that I, who was normally standing in line, had cut in front of others. She didn’t ask any questions and simply skipped me to serve other customers. Could it be because I have a Chinese face? This seems to be a form of subtle racial discrimination.

Having been a customer in Venchi in many places around the world, this was the most disappointing and bad experience ever! Definitely it is also my last visit to this Venchi store.
