新宿駅西口側は多数の高層ビルが立ち並ぶため、多くのレストランがありますが、看板のみが表に掲げられるだけでレストラン自体はビルの地下等にあることが多く、ややアクセスに不便を感じることがあります。その点、このレストランは大通りからすぐに入店できることもあり、非常に利用しやすいです。 店内は広々としており、また席数も多いです。平日休日問わずランチタイムは流石に混雑しますが、席数が多く、周辺はビジネス街であるため回転も良く、あまり待たされずに済みます。 一方、入り口が（段数は少ないものの）階段となっており、車いすを始め障碍を持つ方や大きな荷物を持つ方にとってはやや利用しにくいと感じるかもしれません。 スタッフの対応はやや無機質でぶっきらぼうに感じますが、格別不愉快と言うわけではありません。味付け・盛り付けは他の洋麺屋五右衛門と遜色はありません。ただし料理が冷えると塩気が強くなるのは、変わらず注意が必要です。

西新宿での用事の帰り、休日の16時過ぎに少し早めの晩御飯として初めて伺いました。 広い店内に客は5組程、アイドルタイムだったと思います。 あまりに室外が暑かったので、夏限定パスタと、サラダ、スープ、ドリンク(クリームソーダ)、スイーツ(チョコミントアイスブリュレ？的な)のセットを頼みました。 各席にお盆とお箸が予めセットされており、格式高いのかと最初思ってしまいました。 お冷のセルフ方式はありがたかったです。 ただ、気になった点が幾つか見受けられました。 まず、セルフ方式で設置されているカトラリーや取り皿の多くにパスタソースのような汚れが付着しており、きれいに洗えていませんでした。 仕方なく、持参の消毒用アルコールでこれらを拭ってから使用しました。 また、スイーツを食後に提供頂くようお伝えしたのですが、食べるのが遅い私はパスタを食べ終えるのに多少時間がかかりました。 その結果、店員がわざわざ席の近くまで、食事の進捗確認をしに来たり、 挙句、パスタ残り3口ほどでスイーツを持って来られました。 私は食べるのが遅いので、3口でも時間がかかってしまい、 また、今回はアイスを頼んでいたので、 パスタを食べ終えるまでに溶けないか心配になり、急いでパスタを平らげることになりました。 店員がスイーツを持ってくる際も「もうスイーツをお出ししてもよろしいでしょうか？」と、 既にスイーツを携えた状態で聞かれ、 私としては「食後て言うたやろ…」と思いましたが拒めず、仕方なく急いで食べました。 これがランチやディナーの混雑時であれば仕方ないと思えます。 しかし、アイドルタイムに何を急いでいたのか、 客を急かすような気にさせていた点、食事は美味しく頂きましたが、マイナスポイントの方が上回ります。 また、アイドルタイムこそ、食器洗いをやり直してもらいたいと思います。 多少潔癖症の私はこの点もマイナスポイントが大きく、もう2度とこちらにお伺いす...
