Tintin Restaurant is synonymous to KICC. The food quality has never changed and the portions are generous. The service is prompt and the table linen and napkins are divinely white. Excellent hospitality, and favourites such as chicken and cashewnuts as well as sweet and sour chicken are a must have. Plenty of fresh juice varieties including pineapple-mint juice a personal favourite. It is not a surprise to bump into several Kenyan dignitaries from the Parliament, Senate or State Corporations having lunch at the restaurant. The partitioning is quite good and offers privacy for groups...

The food was not as satisfactory... the portions could be bigger for such things as noodles in my opinion... the ambience is veeeery Chinese but i wouldn't say that about the food... they try but if you need authentically Chinese food then like me you might be disappointed... hows it chinese food and it has no garlic in it? also i think its not supposed to cater for outsiders because you have to go through multiple(rude) security checks just go to the restaurant i dont think its worth the hustle... my experience with the food was average but the staff were actually friendly the...
