Read moreTour group was raving about this place so I decided to come down and try. Unfortunately, the experience was normal at best.
Going in, its definitely a bit confusing. Staff don't seat you down so I went to the counter, only for the counter staff to firmly say "Eat in? Sit down". I don't blame the staff, generally just a confusing experience.
Ordered the Pan Au Chocolat with walnut (32000k) and Latte Large (34000k).
The latte is normal, baseline decent for any established cafe. The Chocolat was unfortunately very disappointing. I came at 830am and my guess is these are done from days before. With no crisp or bite but just an airy mess, it feels like refrigerated pastries from yesterday. It wasn't even warm, and texture was completely flat. Not worth the money in my opinion.
Looking around I can see this caters to tourists mostly. Aesthetically pleasing when it comes to pastries on the shelf, but doesnt compensate well when it comes to the actual substance of the food.
Even so, the interior isn't very nice. Considerinf the price, I much rather go to other cafe nearby which could possibly come out as better quality, while also at...

La Terrasse Restaurant is hands down one of the best places in town for Western cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is mouthwatering, and the service is top-notch!
We tried the garlic bread, beef steak, and pork steak—and wow, every bite was delicious! The flavors were rich, the meat was cooked perfectly, and everything was served hot and fresh. Truly tasty and satisfying!
The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of food and service. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.
Another bonus? It’s just a short walk to the Mekong River—perfect if you want to enjoy the riverside view or explore the local nightlife after dinner.
Highly recommended for anyone craving hearty, flavorful Western food in a...
