I'm always skeptical of restaurants that offer a wide range of western food.... especially specializing in Italian food....and also offering eastern food, in this case Lao food. I'm also skeptical of restaurants that don't have anyone eating there. This restaurant had a wide range of Western food specializing in Italian, but did have lots of people eating there. Granted most of them were tourists, but I was with a native Lao, who had the green curry and said it was delicious. I also tried it and thought it was delicious. But we had been eating loud all day, and so I felt like having some Italian food, and I ended up having the special 67 Pizza, which is a mostly meat and cheese pizza. Delicious! Thin crust, and floppy. But the size of the pizza was quite large, at least eight good size pieces. Because I love french fried potatoes, I also had an order of the Belgian french fries. Now normally I would say that no one knows how to make french fries like the French. But these fries were so spectacular, though "Belgian". Crispy on the outside, and so creamy on the inside that it almost seemed like they were filled with cream! As I said my friend had Lao food and said it was great. Nice atmosphere. Can sit in the front and smoke, can also sit in the garden area, quite lovely, in the back, and smoke. They also have a lovely interior dining room that's air conditioned with no smoking. Full compliment of beers and wines, and I believe liquor. Great service! I wish I had taken a picture of my pizza. Maybe I'll just have to go back and do that! I'll...

🐟Tuna Salad🥗
For the appetizer, I ordered a tuna salad. The vegetables were incredibly fresh. There wasn't a single wilted or spoiled piece, allowing me to enjoy a crisp texture throughout the meal. The tuna was well-drained, with no oily or fishy taste, making it absolutely delicious. The dressing seemed to be balsamic, and it complemented the dish perfectly. Overall, it was a very satisfying appetizer.
🧄Aglio Olio Peperoncino🍝
The pasta was cooked to a slightly softer texture rather than being al dente. It had a nice chewiness and was perfectly cooked, making it delicious. There was a subtle hint of herbs and garlic, which I enjoyed. The use of pepper and peperoncino was well-balanced, eliminating any greasy or overly rich flavors, while not making the dish too spicy. Most importantly, it didn't feel overly oily, which I appreciated. Even after finishing the meal, there was a clean aftertaste, making it an enjoyable dining experience.

Read moreWe’ve been here twice, both the times we had the mixed starter and it was fantastic: salame, prosciutto, blue cheese, Camembert, bruschetta, olives and cherry tomatoes. Everything was delicious and well presented.
The forest lasagna we had during our first visit (with mushroom and truffle) however, has been very disappointing: dry and chewy, could only taste the mushrooms, totally not worth it if paid full price (they have a promotion on Wednesday).
During our second visit we tried the pasta: while my partner enjoyed her bolognese, with well cooked fresh pasta and a tasty sauce, my carbonara wasn’t really good. Bland, overcooked spaghetti, tasteless bacon and cheese. From a restaurant that prides itself on importing Italian ingredients, I was expecting much better.
Also both the times service has been inadequate: they always brought our mains almost at the beginning of our starter and then they forgot about us leaving menus and dirty plates on our table for the entire lunch.
Nothing is terrible, something is good, but most surely is...
