I'm always skeptical of restaurants that offer a wide range of western food.... especially specializing in Italian food....and also offering eastern food, in this case Lao food. I'm also skeptical of restaurants that don't have anyone eating there. This restaurant had a wide range of Western food specializing in Italian, but did have lots of people eating there. Granted most of them were tourists, but I was with a native Lao, who had the green curry and said it was delicious. I also tried it and thought it was delicious. But we had been eating loud all day, and so I felt like having some Italian food, and I ended up having the special 67 Pizza, which is a mostly meat and cheese pizza. Delicious! Thin crust, and floppy. But the size of the pizza was quite large, at least eight good size pieces. Because I love french fried potatoes, I also had an order of the Belgian french fries. Now normally I would say that no one knows how to make french fries like the French. But these fries were so spectacular, though "Belgian". Crispy on the outside, and so creamy on the inside that it almost seemed like they were filled with cream! As I said my friend had Lao food and said it was great. Nice atmosphere. Can sit in the front and smoke, can also sit in the garden area, quite lovely, in the back, and smoke. They also have a lovely interior dining room that's air conditioned with no smoking. Full compliment of beers and wines, and I believe liquor. Great service! I wish I had taken a picture of my pizza. Maybe I'll just have to go back and do that! I'll definitely be back.
