Nila Cream and Café — Restaurant in Vientiane Capital

This place was a huge disappointment. We walked past it a few times and it wasn’t great. I got an English muffin, it wasn’t a muffin it was a pancake and tasted a bit funky. My partner got a panini and it was forsure a panini, not a good one however. The eggs here are a bit water and jello-like. The bacon was good. My coffee was not good and very lack-luster compared to all the good coffee in the area. We also ordered a waffle and the waiter must’ve not heard us or didn’t understand as we never received it but hey we weren’t charged so the assumption is he didn’t hear. We also got the wrong change back which they forgot to give us back 10k. The service wasn’t great. Our waiter didn’t seem to want to be there.

Please please beware of this cafe !

They brought us out the wrong food and we thought it was a miscommunication until they brought out our order and made us have it all after we explained we did not want it. They then brought out a bill for us to pay for their mistake. We were shocked and disappointed to see that this is also shown in other reviews!

The prices do not match and they are not transparent or honest at all here.

The food is also terrible overpriced and the pictures looked nice but our food was terrible.

I cannot believe this is common place at this cafe.

I recently visited Nila Cream & Cafe for breakfast and had a great experience. The outdoor seating was lovely, and the western style breakfast options were delicious. I enjoyed the French toast.

The staff spoke limited English, but they were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. While the servers didn't smile much, they were efficient and provided great service.

The best part was the food - it was absolutely delicious. I also appreciated that wifi was available for customers. Overall, I had a pleasant dining experience at Nila Cream & Cafe and would recommend it to others looking for a tasty...
