Bubble tea Riga - Barona — Restaurant in Riga

We went twice due to our passion for bubble tea. The first time, we ordered the strawberry mojito and the matcha bubble tea. Those were really good, sweet, and they had a balanced flavour. The mojito was a bit uncomfy to drink, because of the smashed strawberry that would get stuck in the straw.

The second time we got the brownie matcha bubble tea and black bubble tea with almond syrup on oat milk. Both with tapioca. The tapioca is much better than in other places we tried. Still, these two weren't as good. They had a bland, confusing taste. The oat milk felt too much and not a good combo with the rest, but we were just experimenting.

The staff does not speak Russian but is fluent in English. The place seems a bit too small, they have 4 or 5 tables inside that are not enough for the number of customers, at least at the time we came.

This is a very good place to get (relatively) good priced boba, of course there is always difirent options, but i prefer bubble tea riga because as previously mentioned, the prices are good, the boba is fantastic and the pepole working there are very nice. There are pre-made drinks, drinks that the staff working there made and of course, you can make your own with an incerdible amount of customisation, for example, i can have a cold boba, a hot boba, a cofee boba a green tea boba, black tea boba and then there are the syrups like peach, apple, dragonfruit and all of this is not even scratching the surface of what you...

I ordered the brown sugar bubble tea. This bubble tea is seen as a classic. It's very simple-brown sugar syrup, milk, tea and tapioca pearls. It's not supposed to be overly sweet or strong in taste. I'm very disappointed with mine :( They could have made at least 2 other drinks with the amount of syrup they put in my cup. It's so sweet.
