rePUBlic No.1 — Restaurant in Kaunas

Something bad happened to this place since 2023, been here 4 times and all the times waitresses and bar tenders were behaving very weird and unprofessional. First of all no one cares when you enter the pub, secondly ordering is different for different people - some people are asked to order and pay in advance may be because we are not locals ( it could be it plays a big factor in LT).

Every time it's regular days or weekends my order takes longer for simple snacks.

Anytime I call for a reservation they seem to book it but magically the booking info gets lost or gets lost in translation.

But I have been visiting this place since Jan 2015 and since 2023 onwards only the service quality has degraded a lot every time I come back here.

My req to the responsible people for the place is to look after it as i love this place a lot and see rePUBlic No. 1 in such a poor...

The whole experience of this place spoilt the rude attitude of the waiters. For a polite request to pay for drinks separately therw was negative “no” with explanation that this is impossible ( however, a few minutes before my friend paid her bill separately). After my words that the same procedure of paying separately was done couple of minutes ago one of the waitresses aggressively and rudely said following words. “YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN”. Very inappropriate reaction to the basic request to pay the bill separately. Please, educate your staff more about proper communication with customers and basic etiquette manners. The food and drinks were ok.

Me and my friends will follow the recommendation for now, unless the attitude towards basic customer needs will be changed among some representatives...

The location, environment and music are great. BUT. Last night my mood was totally ruined by bar tender. He was very rude. We had a misunderstanding about paiment and instead of just taking money for drinks we've just had, bar tender made 2 extra drinks that we didn't want. Story goes that I had to explain things 5 times and bar tender did not want to give money back and then he threw money on the bar... Confusion here is that if u are served by waitress, u pay for waitress. If u sit at a bar, u pay for a bar. But I didn't know it, as it's not writen anywhere. So, good mood was ruined by bad service, even if the waitress was really nice. Plus, cocktails...
