Lithuanian food with a modern, hipster, and fine touch. Not an experience to be missed. Best gastronomy experience in Kaunas. We visited this restaurant for lunch after been recommended by a local. It was an amazing experience. We ordered crispy fried bread with cheese dip, long cooked clear chicken soup, and borsch with dried mushroom for starters. All of them tasted excellent and we totally enjoyed till the last bit/drop of it. We ordered turkey dumplings in white sauce and baked beetroot filled with barley. They were delicious. I don't think the restaurant is expensive (2 starters, 2 main course, 1 drink and 1 take away dessert cost us 27€) considering the delicious food they serve. True, the portions are a bit small but the explosion of the taste in the mouth is something you will never forget after the dinner. The interior is sober, Scandinavian inspired, and soft. Perfect for conversations and upscale dinner. There is a kids play area in the corner. We totally recommend this restaurant. This restaurant don't serve huge portions or mass produced food. It is about quality over quantity and how the ingredients create a symphony of tastes inside your mouth.

Not too bad. Venue is somewhat cozy style, feels like granny's kitchen. Staff has been lagging for that moment, did not react as quick and helpful as they could be according to the place status. Menu contains delicious meals, place is big enough, split in rooms and halls, for your comfort. Serving brought my attention, interesting looks. Some choice of beer. However, I do not approve the mountain of foam as shown in the picture - we are not in Czech Pilsner country. Fried bread tastes nice, good touch with delicate cheese and serving, although the fried bread itself could have been better, less rocky - but that is up to the chef and management. Overall, good luck.

Clean, fresh, bright local restaurant. Don't go for a high table/chair combination. Take a regular seat. I tried several fish, goose/duck, chicken spreads and most of them were tasty. For starter I tried a greed salad with roasted goat cheese and loved it. Very well seasoned, cheese cooked very well, lots of crunchy nuts and seeds. For the main I ordered pork ribs and it turned out that they were baby back ribs. Tender, well seasoned and cooked. they could be a little bit more juicy and less barbecue sauce to cook. Still I recommend this place for a decent dinner.

I'm originally from Lithuania but reside in New York. This place is very unique and called "chicken in the pot"... went there with 3 of my girlfriends and ate up a storm. The food was great and staff was very friendly which is sometimes hard to find in Lithuania.( trust me!) overall experience was great. I really liked the herb butter with salmon roe spread :) chicken stew was great as well. Great options for kids too and a playing area for babies as well. Thumbs up! Will go Back again next year 👌🏻

A classic, cosy and elegant restaurant) A stylish interior, clean and comfy tables, quiet music, friendly staff, good service. It is located close to Vitautas Magnus University and the Unity Square. In general, the menu looks good and includes popular dishes of European cuisine and traditional Lithuanian dishes. Everything looks nice and delicious. The taste will please you too. Dinner for one person will set you back about 20-25 EUR. My recommendation!

The food, atmosphere and, staff were great. The restaurant is clean and, has outside and inside sitting. I chose to sit inside. The dining chairs are cozy and, the restaurant is well decorated. I was a little overwhelmed by the mostly chicken themed decor but, it definitely fits the theme of fresh out the farm that the restaurant maintains. I will definitely be coming back.
