Read moreThis is a review about the restaurant. I almost missed eating there because the advertising seems more geared to their lodging. The food was top notch, so I went back again during my week in Vilnius. The first visit I had the Mutton Soup which was super tasty, full of fresh vegetables and meat. Excellent, best soup I've had in ages with real homemade flavor. Also had the tomato and mozzarella salad which was very fresh. The mozzarella was great. The second visit I tried the stuffed eggplant wrapped in bacon and drizzled with pesto- almost ordered another serving it was so good. The dumplings were good too. Loved their homemade bread, especially the bread in the photo with the soup. Soft inside and crispy outside. The staff was friendly and professional. Downstairs, they also have an impressive collection of different styles of bricks from many, many foundaries - all with the foundary stamps. Got some great design...

So google Maps do help find places like this. 2nd thing, service and greeting was great, friendly staff and very professional at the time of the visit. At the time wasnt busy, but while we were waiting, people joined and become more lively. Food, hmm.... We chosen very simple dine, Called "Koldunai", "Silke", "Bulviniai Blynai" Personally i had Fried Dumplings (Kepti Koldunai) with Mushroom sauce and it was delicious, also tried simple Boiled Dumplings with Sour Cream and Bacon. Wife had Herring over Potatoes, was very nice. Drinks, Gabi House beer is super nice and smooth, had to go for second. Overall experience is very good. Definitely when back in Vilnius , will be...
