I had really high hopes for this place, as it was quite hyped up. When you first walk in, it seems like a nice place, the interior is modern and cosy, has a nice ambiance. But me and my friend were really disappointed by our experience and the service we’ve received. We waited for our food for what seemed like forever, and the waiter was more focused on fishing for tips that providing the bare minimum of a good service.
First of all, trying to shame people for not drinking alcohol, even jokingly, is kind of in poor taste. Your staff shouldn’t act like my uncle at a family function. Just saying.
Speaking of your staff, you should really train your staff better. The guy who served us really didn’t seem to know what he was doing, so we assumed it was his first day at work. Knowing the menu should be the bare minimum.
What really perplexed me was the fact that he didn’t think to mention or warn me that what I was ordering was a kids dish. The dish wasn’t on a separate kids menu, and it was probably marked in some way, but obviously not noticeably enough. Of course, it’s my bad for missing it, and I take part of the responsibility. Which is why I sucked it up and ate the dish I had ordered. But any professional waiter would have seen that there were no kids at our table and would’ve warned me. I seriously don’t understand what’s the harm in briefly mentioning that the dish is for kids. If you say “just to make sure you’re aware, this dish is made for kids”, your customer will either say “yes, I saw it, I still want to order it” or “no, I didn’t see that, let me choose something else”. Either that, or perhaps you need to rethink your menu design. But what happened instead was that the waiter brought my dish (ketchup smiley face on it and all) and only then thought to jokingly say: “I guess you didn’t see it was a kids dish?” That was a cherry on top.
Oh and also. The wings my friend ordered were not good either, so...
