Glamps — Restaurant in Borneo

This restaurant has been here for quite a while so my family thought we can give it a try. The restaurant atmosphere is great with the glamping theme and the concept is rather interesting. I've seen previous review saying that they only accept cash and online transfer but I guess they improved now as they are using paywave device to accept payments and if I'm not mistaken, there was a QR Code for payment as well. They have quite a number of selection in their menu so we chose what we wanted.

However, the waiting time is preposterous. Yes, the drinks came within 15 mins after ordering and our first order came after approximately 30 mins of waiting. The next thing, I kid you not, we waiting for at least an hour for the food to be served and that wasn't even our final order. The last order came after 1 hour and 10 mins of waiting (plus minus). Yes, I do understand that it might be celebration of Father's Day but to wait for food with the duration of 1 Hour and more? I checked other tables as well there were others (probably a table or two) was waiting as long as I was. Seeing the reviews from here, I think I am not the only one that had this bad experience. Greatly disappointed and maybe they might improve after this but there won't be a next...

A very good place to chill & dine in. Unfortunately, tonight’s experience was unpleasant. Im sorry we didnt realize the time was almost 10. The boss came upstairs and stand at the stair, raising his voice telling us the store is almost close. So unprofesional! You could come to our table and say it nicely right? Instead of raising your voice from the stairs? Not to mention during my ordering. I wanted to pay by card, you lazily shows a sign in front of your cashier pay cash or online transfer only. No QR PAY but online transfer? What a funny way of doing business! And unprofesional manner showed by the boss himself. Your male staff was way better & profesional! First time here and its really good! First impression on the area, how the restaurant looks and its aesthetics of the place. The food is good and probably serve one of the best cheese cakes around. Toilet is nice and usable for "heavy" wastage😅. One thing though...i dont think it is a problem but itll be a problem for tall and heavier people for the ones who wants to sit on the bottom. The chairs, i believe, are not flimsy to say the least but it did make me uncomfortable. But i bare through it because its a nice place, service is friendly and all. Overall its a good place to eat! I ordered burger there and it is fantastic, would want to try their spaghetti next time.
