Liew Chai Vegetarian — Restaurant in Borneo

Delicious vegetarian food. Food stall is in the basement of the shopping center, owner is very friendly and welcoming. We tried some dishes from the buffet - we loved the perfect spiced pumpkin in a creamy sauce as well as the tofu "ikan" style...so good! And also had 2 dishes from the menu - black pepper soy"chicken" was super tasty! We enjoyed our meal a lot and highly recommend this place. Also very reasonable prices 👍🏼😊

Edit: next day we came back for early lunch (first visit we arrived late afternoon just before they close) and what can I say...a self-service buffet full of amazing plantbased dishes! We liked it so much that we even filled our takeaway-box for dinner. It definitely was the best food we had in Kota Kinabalu! This time the son of the family who runs the place was around and I had a nice chat with him, such a lovely family. We are looking forward to come back to Liew Chai...

Located at basement inside of Center Point Shopping Complex food court. It's been there for more than 15th years. Serve only chinese style vegetarian food. There're a variety of beverages, as well as wook fried food to be choose from their menu and a few choices of ready cooked meal too. Food authenticity are plant base as could be seen on my video.
